<p>The 2021 Company of the Year Awards (COYA) call for entries is now open. Organized by The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), COYA seeks to promote and encourage best practices in key global</p><p>Business excellence parameters including;</p><p>1.Leadership & Management</p><p>2.Human Resources Focus </p><p>3.Customer Orientation & Marketing</p><p>4.Financial Management</p><p>5.Innovation, ICT, Knowledge Management</p><p>6.Corporate Citizenship and Environment </p><p>7.Productivity & Quality</p><p>The Awards are based on Organizational Performance Index (OPI) where processes and systems are assessed and benchmarked against global standards.</p><p>Assessment Team</p><p>The Assessors and Technical Committee comprises of professionals drawn from the Leadership and Governance, Human Resources, Finance, Audit, academia etc., with high levels of expertise in their respective areas.</p><p>Champions Training</p><p>Participating organizations nominate at least seven champions to attend a training programme on Business Excellence Models and Organizational Performance Index. With these skills, the champions are able to conduct a self-assessment of their organizations’ processes linking existing business strategies, what is implemented, and whether the results are sustainable.</p><p>Assessment Process</p><p>Using a self-assessment tool, a report is submitted for desk analysis to KIM assessors who verify the champions` report.</p><p>Technical Analysis</p><p>Submissions from both the champions and assessors are analysed for further benchmarking against industry standards. This moderates and validates the score to establish the level of performance.</p><p>The team selects three companies with exemplary performance in each category and presents the report to the panel of judges for final validation.</p><p>COYA gala dinner</p><p>This is a culmination of the OPI process that recognizes and celebrates the industry champions. This Year’s COYA, themed “Celebrating Organizational Excellence and Resilience Amidst the Pandemic” is scheduled to take place on 19th November 2021 at the Ole Sereni Hotel Nairobi.</p><p>Feedback report presentation</p><p>All participating organizations are provided with a report that highlights overall performance with great emphasis on strengths and opportunities for continuous improvement.</p><br><p>CEO and Manager of the year Awards (CEYA/ MOYA)</p><p>A 360 degree online assessment tool, which includes emotional intelligence analysis, is used to select the CEO and Manager of the Year.</p><p>Register today and position your organization as a hub of excellence in organizational business management practices.</p><p>Investment: Kshs 550,000 for COYA category; the fee caters for champions training, internal and external assessments and OPI feedback report; Kshs 70,000 for CEO of the Year Awards and Kshs. 65, 000 for Manager of the Year Awards.
