Dr. Muthoka is the Chairman of the Board of Fellows of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Management University of Africa (MUA). He is also Chairman of the Old Mutual Asset Managers (K) Ltd., Chairman of the Old Mutual Investments Services (K) Ltd, Chairman of Bel Air Management Ltd, Chairman of the Advocates Plaza Ltd and Chairman of Faulu Microfinance Bank. He is a Director of Old Mutual Holdings (K) Ltd and Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (K) Ltd; Old Mutual Africa Holdings and Old Mutual Emerging Markets, and Director of the Institute of Directors, Kenya. He retired from Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in May 2012 in accordance with the Bank’s Board Charter, having served the Board for the maximum 8 years from 2004 to 2012, as a Director, inclusive of the last 4 years as the Group Chairman.

Dr. Musili is the Founder Director of Computers for Schools Kenya (CFSK), a non-governmental organisation.

He is a Chartered Certified Accountant by profession with wide training and experience in management and public administration. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants and Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management.

Mr. Murigu is the Executive Director at Metropol Corporation Limited. He is the immediate past Chairman of Automobile Association of Kenya. For over fourteen years he served as Managing Director at Suntra Investments Bank, Kenya. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the promotion and management of small enterprises and development banking with particular reference to project preparation appraisal and monitoring. Mr. Murigu has hands on experience in the management of finance companies, credit card companies and is a specialist in money and capital markets, credit referencing and credit rating.

For the last fifteen years, he's been a Member of Market Leaders Forum CBK.

A Bachelor of Science graduate in Economics and Statistics from the United Nations sponsored Institute of Statistics and Economic Planning at Makerere University Kampala, Uganda, Mr. Murigu has hands on experience in economic development issues at both macro and micro levels.

He is a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management.

Dr. Henry Chakava is a  publisher. He has focused on the publication of books particularly in East Africa and has been called "the father of Kenyan publishing" for his contribution in the region.

He was Editor and subsequently Chief Editor of the international publishing house Heinemann Educational Books. He was involved in the publication and promotion of high profile African writers including Ali Mazrui, Chinua Achebe, Marjorie Oludhe Macgoye, Meja Mwangi, Njugi wa Thiong'o and Okot p'Bitek. In 1992, he took over the Kenyan establishment and went further under the name East African Educational Publishers. Later, he expanded the business establishment into Uganda and Tanzania.

He published a great number of educational and cultural books that have had a major importance in Eastern Africa. In this regard has received several awards.

 

He is a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management.

Dr. Nyambura Koigi joined the Board on October 28, 2015. She was the Managing Director of Postbank from 2005 to 2015. She has worked in various capacities in the financial sector including banking, business development and information communication technology. She has extensive training and experience in leadership, project management, product development, ICT and Microfinance.

She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, an MBA and a BA both from the University of Nairobi. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and Fellow, Kenya Institute of Management.

He is a banker, teacher, motivational speaker and mentor. Mr. Dickson Gachuche brings a deep understanding of the finance sector locally and internationally. He has been a banker and financial adviser for over 20 years.

Mr. Gachuche joined Kenya Commercial Bank in 1975 and rose through the ranks to managerial positions in different departments of Kenya’s biggest bank by assets. In 1982, his career blossomed as he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Finance Bank. He held the position for 14 years during which he developed admirable corporate governance structures, modern financial systems and mentored leaders who took over after his retirement in 1995.

He set up the Institutional Development Strategies Limited (IDS) in 1996. For 16 years, IDS has advised many corporates on brand and strategy and trained hundreds of professionals in finance, marketing, banking operation and customer service while instilling in them great leadership values.

Having risen through the ranks as a member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), Mr. Gachuche currently sits on the Board of Fellows

Ms. Rose Detho

Ms. Rose Detho is the Director, Strategic Management Department, Central Bank of Kenya. Prior to her appointment she was Director, Deposit Protection Fund Board and before that, Bank Supervision Department.

She holds an MBA and BCom from the University of Nairobi. She is the Director of the Deposit Protection Fund Board. Ms Detho joined Central Bank of Kenya on August 10, 1988 and has served the bank in various capacities. She has served on several occasions as Statutory Manager, appointed by the Bank, to manage financially distressed institutions. She was also seconded to Deposit Protection Fund Board in her capacity as Liquidation Agent of a number of failed institutions. She once deputized the Receiver, Grand Regency Hotel, which was under the receivership of Central Bank of Kenya.

She is a Fellow Member of the Kenya Institute of Management.
