Dr.. George Kwedho 

Vice Chairperson, KIM Council

Dr. George Kwedho is an accomplished engineer with over 38 years of engineering experience in the Water, and Sanitation, environmental and managerial sector in Kenya, the United Kingdom, and Japan. He is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Masters in Entrepreneurship, and a Doctorate in Environmental Planning among other certificates. 

Dr. Kwedho has strong managerial and leadership skills gained through holding senior management positions in key organizations in the water and sanitation sector in Kenya. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency, The Managing Director Kakameega/Busia Water Company, and Head of Technical Services Eldoret Water and Sewerage Company. He has also contributed to the advancement of the management, engineering, and environmental professions by being a Lead Expert with the Environmental Institute of Kenya and an active full member of the Kenya Institute of Management.

He is currently the Chairman of LapTrust (CPF), Council Member at Chuka University, the Chairman at Busia Water and Sewerage Company, a Board Member at Busia Municipality Board.
